The
idea of this game is to get back your friends; they've been turned
into little Monster Capsule figures and you need to challenge people
to get them back one by one.
If you've played any previous versions
of Yu-Gi-Oh!, you'd notice this isn't much
like the Duel Monsters games. In this version, titled
"Monster Capsule GB", you buy
monsters (with coins you win
from other people) and play against
other people. You
can level them up, get better stats, buy
more monsters, plus more. The
playing world in this game is pretty big. After getting past the
first room, you have to challenge other players and beat their
Monster Capsule island. You'll see what I call a "Monster
Capsule island" on the tables of the people you challenge; you
have to go into that island and beat it. There are several towns and
cities in each island that you'll have to explore. Caves and meadows
where you'll have to fight numerous battles against monsters. Each
monster has it's own area it can attack, which makes this game
somewhat strategic. There are Field Power Bonuses in this game; the
monsters have their own type (bug, flying, beast) and they have a
certain area on the field where they get more attack power. |
