With the help of great graphic capability from Sony PlayStation 2, Shin Duel Monsters 2 looks good, in my opinion. The graphics and battle scenes have been tweaked up a lot. From looking at the pictures, shown below, I don't think it's going to be much like Shin Duel Monsters 1 for PlayStation. It's going to use cards, with the monster above them, similar to the GameBoy versions Duel Monsters. Although new options and such are still unknown, to me at least, I'm sure there's going to be a lot more to it then laying monsters down and attacking! I look forward to a hopefully great, new Yu-Gi-Oh game.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Shin Duel Monsters 2 features full 3D graphics, over forty original cards specially designed for this version. There is a new Deck Leader system, in which you can name one of your dependable monster to the leader, all the monsters can freely move around in the stage. There are also several new ways to get new cards. The most interesting is possibly the "hidden spots"; where pressing certain buttons will get you a card. The card you pick up won't be identified automatically, you'll have to check out your deck. But beware, a card may be deleted from your deck when you find a card.
